hear as a personal trainer in ibiza!
(Because people like to whinge … a lot!)
As personal trainers, we work with a lot of different people and All of them have a goal in mind. They know exactly how they want to look and they would love to have that… yesterday.
Unfortunately the brutal truth is there is no magic pill and to get results you need to put blood, sweat and tears into your quest. And complaining kinda goes hand in hand with the training.
so Here are the 7 that crack me up every time I hear them.
#1 How many…?!!!
AS YOU CAN IMAGINE SOME PEOPLE LOVE TO STALL TIME! ALWAYS AFTER THE EXPLANATION OF THE EXERCISE, THE NUMBER OF SETS AND REPETITIONS ARE CLEARLY EXPLAINED. THE MOMENT THEY NEED TO START, THE QUESTION POPS UP…HOW MANY?!! OH WE JUST LOVE OUR JOB!
#2 Again…?!!!
I know it’s hard. But if you want to get some results then you need to work for it! So yes…again please..:)
#3 Is it time already…?!!!
I really love this one! Some people start asking this even after just 25 minutes of training. No, I am so sorry to say that you still have 30 more minutes.
#4 It is way too early for me to train…
Yes, ok not everybody is a morning person. Some people are more the type that like to train in the afternoon. But when you’ve made your choice, accept your faith and just kick ass..:)
#5 but i only had 3 hours of sleep…
Yes, we live in Ibiza. And that means dance until you drop! As we say in Holland (where we are from) “in the evening, a man; in the morning, a man.”
and Girls seem to handle lack of sleep much better than men..
#6 I can’t…
This is a special one, that most use when they are getting tired. There is no thing such I can’t, only I do or I do not. Thank you Yoda for your wisdom.
#7 You do it!
This one always really cracks me up. In the heat of the moment some people just lash out on you. I am always more than happy to accept the challenge. After all, practice what you preach..
